Bansner's Ultimate Rifles, LLC was opened by Mark Bansner in 1980 as Bansner's
Gunsmithing with his wife, Roslyn Bansner. His educational background from the Pennsylvania Gunsmithing
school and his love for hunting started this unique quest for building the
ultimate custom bolt action rifles.
Mark began his adventure in the basement of his home and opened shop working on
all firearms for repair while experimenting with different actions, barrels,
stocks and other precision machining. His goal was to build a rifle with
ultimate accuracy with a sleek style and elegance.
Mark Bansner's background consists of hunting
since he was in his youth. He has served in the military and worked in
machining and explosives. Afterwards, his education at the Pennsylvania
Gunsmithing school lead him to teach various places about the anatomy of rifles,
pistols and shotguns. His knowledge is extensive as well as his knowledge
of the hunting industry. Mark Bansner has not just educated people with
rifles, but the hunting sport.
Mark Bansner built a strong reputation in the
Shotgun industry for customizing shotgun barrels with tighter patterns to scare
any turkey. Yet, his love for big game hunting pulled him from the shotgun
industry into a high end custom rifle business. It took Mark Bansner over
25 years to produce what many avid hunters use today; the ULTIMATE RIFLE.
With a staff of three rifle builders and three stock makers, Mark's direction
hasn't stopped him from creating new and improved rifles for any type of hunt.
Mark Bansner has traveled worldwide hunting big
game. He knows his business because he loves what he does. He chose
to limit his custom rifles to serious hunters and not the vast retail end.
